When to go and how long to stay
You can travel all year around, whenever you’ve got the time. This project doesn’t demand that you have come far in your studies, if you want you can even be a first year student. But we do recommend that you at least have started your clinical training, the more you know, the more you’ll get the chance to do and the more you’ll learn and understand. So if you’re wondering if you should travel after second year medical school or fourth - save it for fourth year.
